VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

The First UM Church of Avalon is the site of

an awesome Vacation Bible School every

Summer in July. Each day from 9:00 a.m.

to Noon children age (4) years up to 6th

grade gather for Bible stories, crafts,

snacks, outdoor activities and music. Our

VBS is offered free, and is one the highlights

of every summer.

ADULT EDUCATION AND GROUPS:

SHORT TERM TOPICAL GROUPS:

Informal discussion groups meet for

fellowship and discussion. Events of the

day, parenting, social issues, and a range

of other topics are discussed from a

Christian perspective.

WINTER BIBLE STUDY:

During the Winter, many adults gather

on Friday mornings @10:00 to spend

time growing Spiritually through God's

Word. Come and be a part of this

interesting study that includes fellowship,

prayer, and discussion.

ADVENT & LENT:

Many opportunities are offered for study

and increased devotion during these holy

seasons of the Church year.
